Thanks for your world time display page! I am American, living the
past sixteen years in Asia, with my domain in London, so I am often
confused!

Many, many years ago, I spent a wonderful few months in
your stunning country. Eric Hesselberg [of the Kon-Tiki crew]
who I knew in new York gave me driving instructions to get
around the Western part of Norway. My then wife, who is
Hungarian, and I spent eight weeks in a Volkswagen, staying
mostly with village people each night.

We never made it up to Trondhiem, but we did stay a few nights in Stavanger,
near your home town.

I have promised to show my present wife, who is Japanese, the fjords. We
go to Europe often, but somehow seem to always end up in Italy or the
south of France!! No surprise!

Keep up your excellent work. I have been in the software and computer
services business since 1965, so I can appreciate your creative
efforts, and your excellent command of English. What are your plans
after graduation?

Your homepage is really lovely and practical. I love the world clocks very much. Thanks for giving me a lot of convience.

Excellent site! Thanks for letting me use your java countdown counter...I can't figure out, however, how to structure it so it reads:

there are now xxx years, xxx months, xxx days, xxx hours, xx minutes and xxx seconds until the year 2000.

If you could give me the HTML code for that, it would be wonderful. If not, that's OK, I'll stick with the seconds.

Thanks again for your awesome site!

Congratulations! You have finally come up with a page that is useful not only to the traveler, but, also to the International businessman. It is also very helpful to those who have pocket organizers with the world clock feature like myself. Now here in the U.S. and Canada, when they say @ 2 they mean at that time we either go ahead 1 hour in springtime to 3 am, or back 1 hour in the fall to 1 am. This is the only difference. Otherwise it is the best page ever produced. Keep up the good work. Gene Lemieux

I guess you might say I'm a "fact freak". ( I like to read Almanacs, dictionaries, etc.) I always like to find the Ultimate Website for ANY topic. (For example I'm sure you are familiar with the 164 Currency Converter. If you wanted to convert Ando rran Francs to Zambian Kwachas, that is THE place to go). Well this (in my humble opinion) is THE ultimate website for time. The World Clock and Perpetual Calendar are fantastic !! Incidentally, I checked to see if your calendar does NOT make 1900 a Le ap Year. Congratulations, it does not!! You are knowledgeable in the ways in which our screwy calendar works. This might seem like a minor point - HOWEVER in Microsoft Excel, one of the "date" options is to get a date number for any day with January 1, 1900 arbitrarily designated as "1". Well to make a long story short, Microsoft Excel thinks (or was programmed) that 1900 is a Leap Year. It thinks March 1, 1900 is the 61st day of 1900 when in fact it is only the 60th. I know this may seem like I'm a nit-picker but you should feel proud that you succeeded where Microsoft failed !! To think, a company that big would let an error like that slip right by. If you have Excel try it. You'll see I'm right.
In short, congratulations on having THE ultimate website on time.

I really like your world clock pages.

I'm testing them to my shortwave radio and they seem to be just under a second slow probably due to internet delays. That's pretty dammed good !

I do think your time for Chicago on the timeline thing is ahead 1 hour. That's my time zone (Central).

Once again, very cool pages.

Stephen,
This is a wonderful addition to the web. I am 68y and am not permitted
to drive anymore so I must depend on the computer and net to take me places.
I notice your from Norway and have seen on TV where you folks are experiencing
a very bad winter. It sure is cold here. My husband and I live on a farm midway
between Cleveland and Columbus, OH. We can't hardly take the cold anymore. Where abouts
do you live in Norway? I enjoy doing Genealogy, family history stuff. Like the computer, this keeps my
mind busy. If I ever get this HTML and CGI-Bin stuff figured out, I will have a
Homepage, hopefully in a couple weeks. You'll have to come and see the bee's. By the
way, Could I give your URL as a link?
You have a good day and a better tomorrow. God bless.
